Combat Style Legendary Implants

Legendary Implants can be purchased and upgraded on the fleet in the Supplies section. A player can equip two implants and so can equip up to two Legendary Implant bonuses.

Berserker's Call Package

Reduces the cooldown of Frenzy by 15 seconds. Additionally, activating Berserk increases all damage dealt by 5% for 10 seconds. Package contains Critical Rating.

Comments: Frenzy has a 150s cooldown so the legendary reduces it to 135s or a bit over 2 minutes. Assuming Frenzy is used in the opener then Berserker's Call will give you an extra Frenzy use if the encounter is 4.5 - 5.0 minutes or 6.75 - 7.5 minutes. Really long fights like Izax, Apex or Styrak way get multiple extra Frenzy uses and thus extra Berserks in an encounter. The damage buff is nice but a 5% damage buff with 7-8% uptime (10 seconds every 135 seconds assuming you Frenzy on cooldown) is a bit underwhelming. The effective damage increase should be somewhat higher due to aligning Frenzy with burst windows, raid buffs, adrenals and so on. That leaves Berserker's Call nice but far less powerful than Fearless Victor. It's unclear if Dispatcher will prove to be a better second option though Berserker's Call initially seems better pending more testing.

Dispatcher Package

Activating Dual Saber Throw grants Dispatcher’s Challenge, making your next Vicious Throw or Vicious Slash critically hit. Critically hitting with a weapon attack generates 1 rage. This effect cannot occur more than once every 3 seconds. Package contains Alacrity Rating.

Comments: This package is also a nice buff but underpower. Dual Saber Throw has an 18s cooldown, so the buff will give you 3 auto-crits per minute plus up to 1 extra energy every 3 seconds. The challenge for this buff is that using the auto-crit on Vicious Throw or Vicious Slash is underwhelming since it is your weakest damage filler. It's also unclear if this will apply to Massacre for Carnage players since Massacre replaces Vicious Slash. The rage generation is nice though as a general matter most disciplines will be fine for energy, though Carnage in particular might benefit from the extra energy more than other disciplines. Fearless Victor is clearly the best damage legendary and after that Berserker's Call seems to be the next choice but Dispatcher is probably relatively close behind.

Fearless Victor Package

Whenever you use a rage spending damage ability, your melee damage is increased by 10% for 10 seconds. Package contains Critical Rating.

Comments: Fearless Victor is a simpler and better version of the 6.0 Descent of the Fearless 10% damage buff. This bonus is really good and should have very high uptime so is a must take.

Force Resistance Package

Elemental, Internal, Kinetic and Energy damage reduction is increased by 3%. Package contains Absorption Rating.

Comments: Damage reduction is great for tanks so this is a solid option. DPS should not take Force Resistance as it does not increase damage and contains mitigation tertiary stats.

Nimble Master Package

Activating Saber Ward grants Nimble Master, increasing your movement speed by 100% for the duration of Saber Ward. Package contains Alacrity Rating.

Comments: Movement speed is rarely a major concern in PVE or PVP so Nimble Master is not recommended.

Vicious Thirst Package

Vicious Slash, Massacre and Sweeping Slash add Vicious Thirst stacks to their targets, stacking up to 5 times. Killing an enemy with Vicious Thirst stacks increases your damage by 3% per stack for 10 seconds. Package contains Alacrity Rating.

Comments: Vicious Thirst seems like an interesting option for flashpoints or fights with lots of enemies where it may be possible to maintain high uptime on a 15% damage buff. In practice Vicious Thirst will be inferior to Fearless Victor in PVE endgame content due to the requirement to defeat an enemy to trigger its effects. Not recommended as a primary option.

Combat Style Tacticals

Unless otherwise noted, all tacticals can be purchased on the fleet in the Supplies area for 3,000 Tech Fragments and 1,000,000 credits. They may also be available from Kai Zykken in his rotating inventory for 2,000 Tech Fragments and 1,000,000 credits.

Defel Spliced Genes

Increased drop rate from daily missions.

Activating Predation finishes the cooldown of Force Camouflage.

Comments: Could have some situational use in PVP, where Force Camouflage is a great tool to drop aggro and run away to heal. Not recommended.

Hidden Power

Increased drop rate from conquest.

Force Camouflage generates 2 rage per second.

Comments: Could have situational use in PVP. Not recommended.

Undying Cloak

Crafted by Cybertech. Not available at the Tech Fragment vendor.

Taking damage while Cloak of Pain is activate reduces the cooldown of Undying Rage by 5 seconds per hit. Cannot occur more than once every 2 seconds.

Comments: Could have very very situational use for fights with big one-shot hits or where DPS need to "tank" and take constant damage (Underlurker, M/B). Not generally recommended.
